about GLYNN

Since graduating from Huddersfield University (2005) with a first class Honours degree, I have worked continuously within the NHS and private settings working exclusively within a Musculo-skeletal setting since 2007.

This has enabled me to gain invaluable “Hands On” experience in a variety of musculoskeletal settings, including outpatient departments, Burns and Plastic surgery, Rheumatology and musculoskeletal outpatients. I have worked in private clinics treating musculoskeletal, sporting and whiplash related disorders since 2009.

I am passionate about Physiotherapy and the benefits it offers to people with musculoskeletal pain. Throughout my career I have always believed in a traditional “Hands On” approach to treatment, which has earned me recognition and praise from my patients and peers. Having experienced the benefits of manual therapy I continued my education completing the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine course in 2009 and the AACP Acupuncture course in 2010 and more recently in Myofascial release and McKenzie assessment and treatment technique courses.

From 2014-18 I worked with a consultant podiatrist offering gait analysis, advice and treatment related to lower limb biomechanical problems. Whether a high-level athlete or a person struggling with mobility or work, a biomechanical assessment and treatment can be very effective at identifying and improving any dysfunction helping to reduce secondary pain.

I find a combination of manual therapy, exercise and acupuncture is an extremely powerful and effective combination at controlling and maintaining both acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain.
