about Sarah
Sarah has been working as a physiotherapist for over 20 years, after qualifying with a Bsc Hons from the University of East Anglia in 1997.

One of the hardest conditions to live with is persistent or longstanding (chronic) pain. Sarah has worked in this area, specialising in spinal pain and has worked in an extended role alongside spinal consultants in clinic, on a chronic pain management programme and in the Back Track Clinic based at Warwick Hospital.
All of us will experience some form of acute injury in our lifetime, whether it is through sport or work. Sarah is equipped to deal with these injuries with manual techniques, Sports/therapeutic massage, taping, ultrasound and the best advice and exercises to get you back to where you want to be as soon as possible. Sarah has competed a Sports Massage Diploma in Jan 2018.
Shoulders are considered as one of the most complex joints to successfully assess and treat. Sarah has worked with one of the leading research physiotherapists in shoulder pain and rehabilitation and has subsequently run the shoulder rehabilitation class at Stratford Hospital.
Acupuncture has been proven to be a very effective way of managing pain and reducing dependency on medication. Sarah completed her acupuncture training for musculoskeletal and pain conditions and has been practicing this since 1999. Sarah has also completed her training in auricular (ear) acupuncture. This can be very helpful in managing the symptoms of anxiety, low mood and panic attacks. Is it also a very useful adjunct in giving up smoking.
Her interest in Osteoporosis led to her setting up an Osteoporosis advice group working with an Osteoporosis consultant.
Keeping on top of the latest research and treatment techniques is imperative to provide clients with the most successful way of treating their condition. Sarah keeps abreast of current research, attending post graduate training, and courses and teaching fellow physiotherapists and physiotherapy students.
Sarah has participated in a number of Charity Bike rides including Fireflies Geneva to Cannes ride, Lands End to John O'Groats and London to Paris as a team physiotherapist. She took part in the London to Paris Bike ride raising £3000 for Breast and Ovarian Cancer Research in Sept 2018. She is now training for Milan to Venice bike ride for the same charities. Although this has been delayed on a number of occasions due to the pandemic!
Sarah lives in South Warwickshire with her husband and two children. She is very actively involved in her village having run the Toddlers Group for a number of years, sat on the board of directors for the local Pre-school and worked with the Parish Council to improve the playground facilities. In 2021 she also trained and worked as a vaccinator at Southam Clinic to help deliver the vaccine due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
